Dabang Delhi K.C. aim to beat Bengal Warriors and secure playoff berth

Thursday’s action in vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 9 offers us two exciting encounters to look forward to at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. The first match will feature Bengal Warriors facing off against Dabang Delhi K.C., while Haryana Steelers will do battle with Telugu Titans in the second game.

Bengal Warriors will be looking to finish the league stage on a positive note and have managed eight wins, suffered 10 losses and played out two ties this season. To beat a Dabang Delhi K.C. team that will be keen on sealing their playoff qualification, the Warriors will need their talisman Maninder Singh (220 raid points) to shine. Shrikant Jadhav (116 raid points) and Deepak Hooda (47 raid points) will also hope to contribute in attack. Defensively, Girish Maruti Ernak has been their best performer with 51 tackle points, while Shubham Shinde and Vaibhav Garje have chipped in with 41 and 30 tackle points respectively.

Dabang Delhi K.C., on the other hand, will be eager for a win as they eye sealing their playoff berth. The defending champions have 10 wins, 10 losses and a tie to their name heading into their final match of the league stage. Captain Naveen Kumar will hope to be at his best as he looks to add to his 230 raid points this season, while Ashu Malik (135 raid points) will want to support his skipper. Vijay Malik (67 raid points) and Manjeet (58 raid points) are a couple of other players capable of having an impact in attack for Dabang Delhi K.C.. In defence, Vishal (54 tackle points) is their main weapon, while Krishan (34 tackle points) has also shown his potential. The experienced Sandeep Dhull (26 tackle points) and Amit Hooda (25 tackle points) have also shone with their tackles in recent games.

Nitin Rawal and Amirhossein Bastami have also chipped in with 29 and 21 tackle points respectively.

Telugu Titans, meanwhile, will want to give their fans at home something to cheer about in their last game of the campaign after an underwhelming season that’s seen them win twice and lose 19 times. Siddharth Desai with 142 raid points has been their best player, while Abhishek Singh and Vinay have been their next best raiders with 47 and 38 raid points respectively. On the defensive front, Parvesh Bhainswal and Surjeet Singh have been the team’s top tacklers with 48 and 44 tackle points respectively, while Ankit has also contributed 23 tackle points for the team.

Haryana Steelers vs Telugu Titans head-to-head

Haryana Steelers and Telugu Titans have clashed on eight occasions. The Steelers have won four times and the Titans have won thrice, while one match ended in a tie.
