Official dates have been confirmed for LaLiga Camps UK, an innovative collaboration bringing the Spanish brand of football to young players via LaLiga’s football development partnership with Swerve Soccer and Bede’s School, coming to the south of England next summer.
From July 31 to August 13, 2022, LaLiga Camps will offer an immersive youth football experience for boys and girls aged 12-17 from around the world. Combining LaLiga’s coaching methodology with first-class facilities and unique UK-based linguistic and cultural immersion experiences, players will be able to enhance their footballing ability within a 360° training environment.
Furthermore, to celebrate the launch of LaLiga Camps UK, Swerve Soccer will be offering the chance for one (1) selected player to win a full “Day Camp” scholarship (worth £1,200 GBP) that will be available to UK-resident participants only.
As formally announced in March, LaLiga Camps UK will be run by UEFA Pro-certified LaLiga coaches alongside former professional players and advanced high-performance trainers. English language tuition will be offered, as well as a chance for selected players to attend a 10-day training programme with the youth team of a LaLiga club in Spain.
Allowing participants to enjoy the best of Spanish and British culture, LaLiga Camps residential attendees will also take part in various additional cultural excursions, including city visits and stadium tours, that create unforgettable lifetime experiences.
Through LaLiga Camps UK, LaLiga continues to expand its sporting project footprint across the globe, including eight full-time academies across Europe, Asia and the Americas. In total, LaLiga has organised nearly 400 sporting projects in 38 countries across five continents since 2015.
LaLiga Camps UK will be hosted by Bede’s Summer School, one of England’s premier international summer boarding schools. Accredited by the British Council and a member of English UK and Quality English, Bede’s was founded in 1895 and currently offers elite summer school experiences, in addition to year-round education.
Participants can select between three different residential camp types ranging from “Complete Football”, “Football and Language” and “Goalkeeper Specific”. An additional camp type labelled as ‘Day Camp’ allows local players the opportunity to attend from early morning to late afternoon.
LaLiga Camps UK is now open to worldwide registration. To apply or for more information, please visit www.laligafootballcampsuk.com or via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
