Day 40 of vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 9 brings us two matches from the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. In the first match of the night, U Mumba will be up against Tamil Thalaivas whereas Telugu Titans will battle it out against Patna Pirates in the second game.

Match 94: U Mumba vs Tamil Thalaivas
U Mumba are currently sixth on the points table with eight wins and seven losses. Guman Singh has been in good form for the Mumboys as he has scored 99 raid points so far. Ashish and Jai Bhagwan have added good value to U Mumba’s raiding unit by scoring 67 and 51 raid points respectively. In defence, Rinku has been a standout performer for U Mumba with 41 tackle points. He has had the support from the experienced Surinder Singh and Mohit who have managed 31 and 26 tackle points respectively, while Harendra Kumar has also chipped in with 21 tackle points for U Mumba.
Tamil Thalaivas find themselves in eighth spot after beating Bengal Warriors last night. The Sagar-led team has six wins, six losses and three ties. Narender has been the go-to player for the Thalaivas with 162 raid points. Their raiding department has also got the likes of Ajinkya Pawar and Himanshu Singh who have scored 59 and 32 raid points respectively. Meanwhile, Sagar has taken charge in defence for the Thalaivas with 43 tackle points. The skipper has got support from Sahil Gulia who has scored 36 tackle points, while M. Abishek has chipped in with 28 tackle points.
U Mumba vs Tamil Thalaivas head-to-head
U Mumba and Tamil Thalaivas have squared off eight times in vivo Pro Kabaddi. Out of these, U Mumba have got the better of Tamil Thalaivas six times. Tamil Thalaivas have won one match while one game ended in a tie.
Match 95: Telugu Titans vs Patna Pirates
Telugu Titans will be pleased with the way things went in the previous game as they registered their second win of the campaign. The Titans have secured two wins and suffered 14 losses this season. Siddharth Desai is the man in form for the team with 127 raid points. Baahubali has lacked support in offence as players like Vinay (37 raid points), Monu Goyat (32 raid points), Abhishek Singh (26 raid points) and Adarsh T (25 raid points) haven’t performed on a regular basis. Parvesh Bhainswal and Vishal Bhardwaj have been the Titans’ best performers in defence with 33 and 32 tackle points respectively.
Patna Pirates, on the other hand, have six wins and six losses each along with three ties. Sachin has been the lead raider for the Pirates in vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 9 with 130 raid points and he has been aided by all-rounder Rohit Gulia who has scored 97 raid points. In defence, Mohammadreza Chiyaneh has been one of the most fearless defenders in the league with 53 tackle points. Sunil has also been an important asset for the Pirates with 36 tackle points, while captain Neeraj Kumar has contributed with 24 tackle points.
Telugu Titans vs Patna Pirates head-to-head
Telugu Titans and Patna Pirates have met each other in 20 matches. Out of which, Telugu Titans have won 10 matches whereas Patna Pirates have won nine matches. One match resulted in a tie.
